Density and Temperature Distributions |
The built in coronal model is characterized by constant temperature and uniform base temperature, which may be controlled by the input fields T0 and n0, respectively. The parameter T0, however, controls the scale height of the radial density scale according to the default expression displayed in the input field n(z), where z=h/R represents the normalized coronal height h relative to the solar radius R .
The default expression may be modified by the user at run-time and the result visualized in the corresponding plot. Although any valid IDL expression may be explicitly typed in the input text field, to increase flexibility, an expandable array field, p , is provided for adding an arbitrary number of additional parameters that may be addressed in the user defined expression by their zero based index.
